We Believe Every Child Deserves A Chance

Abundance of the Overflow (AOTOF), the legacy of Solomon Mitchum Sr., is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families through education, advocacy, mentorship, and community outreach.

Our mission is to empower individuals through positive experiences, practical support, and meaningful opportunities that inspire growth, confidence, and self-sufficiency.

We collaborate with parents, educators, social workers, healthcare providers, and community leaders to identify needs and provide resources that improve educational outcomes, family stability, and overall well-being.

Programs That Create Lasting Impact

Education

To operate such charitable and educational programs, which shall provide and promote redemptive, redevelopment and rebuilding of communities by combating prejudice, eliminating poverty, reducing neighborhood tensions and deterring community deterioration.

Elderly

To help the elderly and handicapped persons with housing needs, personal/homecare and transportation to medical appointments, shopping, recreational and amusement facilities; and to help senior citizens with emergency funding for housing needs and medical treatment.

Community Outreach

We shall establish and operate community outreach centers to provide rehabilitative social programs/services relating to healthcare, housing, education, finance, employment and counseling for distressed families, juveniles, ex-convicts, abused women and children and the homeless.
